On Saturday November 11th, between 10 AM and 2 PM there was a place set up on Balsam  where those attending the Dinner/Dance at the fairgrounds in the evening could pick up their tickets.  There were also various items of Burroughs memorabilia for sale and the local mercants had banded to gether to offer some fine deals on merchandise.  It also provided an additional social gathering to meet and greet old friends.
Margaret Sizemore, Martha Sizemore, Pat Reid Hattersley and yours truly.  (I stole Pat Hattersley's  chair so I could sit and watch other folks check in and it was a prime spot to meet old friends and make some new ones.)
If you can ID some of the folks in these pictures please send me an email so I can add their names to the captions.
Small groups of people were observed talking and laughing and enjoying themselves for the entire time.
Above on left is C.C. Schilberg (67) and Annie Murphy (67) with ???????.
I just had to throw that in there!!
I have been cyber friends with Cathy and Dave for 5 years.  This was the first time I met them in person
  R. Randolph, Darla Garrett Nightingale, Carol Cox Newton, Shelly Garrett, Leslie Allen and the Hennessy Twins. Got together to pose for this impromptu snapshot.
As you can see there is a lot of interest in the memorabilia that was presented.

Jim Lloyd can still get his letterman's jacket on but I'm sure the question that Al Simmons is about to ask is: "Yeah but can you button it??!!!"
I finally get to meet Pam Noyes after 4 years of emails and forum interchanges.
I've known Linda since High School and I've been exchanging emails with her for several years but this is the first time I've seen her since 1956

Jim DeVous seems to have a bit of a problem with whatever is happening in this photo but Larryne thinks its hilarious.

Pam Parsons Noyes, Phyllis Lily (mauve jacket), Nancy Wilhelm by flag, Cathie Kranyk Doyel (nearly hidden), Bob Rockwell, Sandy Mather Knox and Margaret Sizemore.  This is one of the several tables set up for the 60th sign ups and memorabilia sales.
