Classes of the 40's |
Class of 46 |
I think that this was the first graduating class of Burroughs High School.
I haven't received any information of any kind on it. The information I
have says that this class attended all its daily classes in quonset huts which
we are familiar with behind the the first high school. I believe these
are the same quonset huts used for a year or two by the Jr High after the original
Burros was built. There were some still in use when I went to high
school from 52 to 56. I went to an American History class in one of them
during my sophomore year. I also attended photo courses in one of them
my senior year. I seem to remember one of them was used for study hall. Anyone who is a graduate of this year will please respond with some descriptive data of your year and perhaps some pictures?? I am sure we would all appreciate seeing how it was. |

The Pep Club above was quite a sizable group. Apparently school spirit was
very high this year judging from the size of this bunch . |

The Senior Ball one of the major social events of the year. This one was obviously
a great success. |

I don't see a "B" on that mountain. I wonder when it first went up???
